Working Together for the Research and Protection of Central Asia’s Cultural Heritage
About Partnership with CARS
CARS – Central Asian Research Society is an international scholarly association focused on the research, documentation and protection of the cultural heritage of Central Asia.
We cooperate with universities, research institutions, museums, specialists and local communities. Our aim is to develop interdisciplinary research, support education and contribute to the long-term protection of the region’s cultural heritage.
To carry out these activities, we are looking for partners who share our interest in supporting science, education, cultural heritage and international cooperation.
Areas of Cooperation
Partnership may include, for example:
- support for research and fieldwork projects
- support for student internships and educational activities
- cooperation on exhibitions, conferences and workshops
- support for publication activities
- joint public outreach and educational projects
- material or technical support for research
Each partnership is arranged individually, taking into account the needs of both the partner and the association.
Partnership Levels
CARS Supporter (from CZK 10,000 / EUR 400)
Suitable for individuals, smaller companies and donors who wish to support the basic activities of the association, especially research, education, publication activities and the protection of Central Asia’s cultural heritage.
Acknowledgement includes:
- listing the supporter’s name on the CARS website
- the possibility of issuing a donation receipt for tax purposes
- information on how the support has been used within the association’s activities
Project Partner (from CZK 25,000 / EUR 1,000)
Suitable for companies, institutions and donors who wish to support a specific project, expedition, student activity, exhibition or publication output.
Partnership includes:
- displaying the partner’s logo on the CARS website
- acknowledgement of the partner in connection with the specific project
- thanks in the newsletter or selected outputs of the association
- the possibility of consultation regarding the focus of the supported project
Main Partner of an Expedition or Research Project (from CZK 50,000 / EUR 2,000)
Suitable for partners who wish to be visibly associated with a specific international expedition, field research project or larger scholarly initiative.
Partnership includes:
- prominent display of the partner’s logo on the CARS website and in project materials
- acknowledgement in press, online and public outreach outputs
- the possibility of presenting the partner at selected CARS events
- regular updates on the results of the supported project
- the possibility of long-term cooperation under the CARS brand
General Partner of CARS (by individual agreement, from CZK 100,000 / EUR 4,000)
Intended for major partners, companies, foundations or institutions wishing to provide long-term support for the development of CARS, its international research activities, student involvement and the protection of Central Asia’s cultural heritage.
The scope of cooperation is agreed individually according to the partner’s focus, the level of support and the needs of the association.
Tax Benefits
Support for the activities of the CARS association may, subject to statutory conditions, be claimed as a gratuitous contribution reducing the tax base (Czech Republic – Section 20(8) of Act No. 586/1992 Coll.).
After receiving a donation, the association issues a donation receipt for tax purposes.
